Darryl graduated from Guelph University with a B.Sc. in Agriculture, and for 7 years worked in his field as a Professional Agrologist, completing an Executive MBA during that time.

In 1994, he entered the real estate industry and owned and operated his own brokerage firm in Chatham, Ontario.
